PAUL A. SOMMER, DPM

Dr. Paul Sommer graduated from St. Johns University College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science in pharmaceutical sciences. He then attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Upon receiving his doctorate, he completed an extensive residency training program specializing in foot and ankle surgery at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Peninsula Hospital Center before entering private practice.

He went into private practice in New York before starting the Boca Podiatry Group in 1993. He practices in all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery, performing in-office surgical procedures and hospital-based surgeries. Dr. Sommer has also served as an Attending Physician at the Delray Medical Center – Post Trauma Wound Care Center and Outpatient Surgery and Laser Center in Boca Raton, Florida.

Dr. Paul Sommer when is not working, in his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and his two dogs; additionally, he has a beautiful parrot called Peekaboo.
